7. Winning Time

One of the most infamous individual performances in NBA history, Reggie Miller comes in at #7 on our list. Reggie singlehandedly broke the hearts of an entire city by putting up 8 points in less than 9 seconds. Tensions had been high between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks, but those tensions were only heightened by the antics of die-hard Knicks fan, Spike Lee. The Knicks had knocked the Pacers out of the playoffs a year earlier and the Pacers were looking for some payback. All eyes were on the East when the basketball world found out the Pacers would meet the Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals, but more importantly, all eyes were on the Reggie/Spike interactions.

When the two teams met for the first time in the 1995 Playoffs, Madison Square Garden was electric. With the game going back and forth, the Knicks took a 5 point lead to the half and everyone was expecting the same thing to happen this year just as it did a year ago. Well, everyone except the Pacers. With the Pacers taking a 3 point lead into the 4th, Patrick Ewing and the Knicks stepped their game up. With just under :20 left in the game, the Knicks were holding a 6 point lead and hoping to make a defensive stop and take game 1 at home, but Reggie had something else planned.
