Not Just For The Gym: @nicolekirkland_ Makin’ moves in Nike
Written by Nicole Kirkland
As a working choreographer in the industry, let’s be honest, how you dress is very crucial. It says a lot about you as an artist and is also a way to express yourself. In 2017, where everyone consistently has their phone cameras out, it’s important to look good at all times, even on those days where all you want to do is wear sweats. The Red Velvet Nike Jacket trimmed in gold matches with both the Nike Air Max 97’s in metallic bronze or the AF1’s; it’s the perfect outfit for those days when all you want to do is be comfy but don’t have the luxury to walk around in pajamas.
Dancers are the kings and queens of athleisure wear, so it’s no surprise that Nike is seen in dance videos of all kinds. I personally love Nike for its durability as well as the urban look, and it’s breathable enough for the studio, but stylish enough for just hanging out. From bouncing back and forth from the dance studio to meetings to hanging with friends, Nike gives me the best of both worlds. Not having to worry about bringing extra clothes to change into after a short rehearsal really does save me so much time.
Can we take a moment and appreciate how dope these AF1 Ultra Force Mids in Summit White are! Not only are they super attention-grabbing as they hit the ankle at the perfect spot, they are super comfortable and surprisingly light. It is so nice to be able to throw these bad boys on for the day and not have to worry about bringing extra shoes to dance in. They’re great for dancing and also just every day wear… and it’s always a plus that I get so many compliments in them.
Nothing screams super fly athletic wear more than Nike, and the best part, the gym is not the only place to wear it anymore.
