Ahead of his first feature film release on June 29, Kyrie Irving and Nike will release a budding iteration of his fourth signature shoe inspired by the upcoming movie.Of course, there would be no Uncle Drew with Irving, but the hooping grandpa still deserves credit for one of the most compelling sports alter-egos we’ve ever been treated to. Dressed in White, this simplistic take on one of the world’s most popular basketball sneakers ushers in a boldly embroidered Blue Swoosh as well as a speckled pattern on its heel that wraps from the lateral side to the medial. Much to the delight of sneakerheads and Uncle Drew fans alike, it is finished off by a gum bottom outsole that creeps up onto the sneaker’s midsole by way of its customary outriggers. Speckled detailing marks the midsole while the summer centric gum outer plays well on the performance basketball shoe.

Dressed in its OG colorway. This Nike LeBron Soldier 12 SFG  is a nod to when LeBron James torched the Detroit Pistons for 48 points in Game 5 of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals, which included King James scoring the Cavs’ final 25 points in a 109-107 victory. With the win, James’ would go on to win the series and advance for his first NBA Finals appearance. While time has come and gone since then and LeBron has secured three NBA Championships, it’s the perfect time to honor his first LeBron Solider silhouette.

Now, eleven years later, Nike is honoring that sneaker and that historic moment with a Soldier XII SFG that utilizes the exact same color scheme. Primarily dressed in white, it adds navy to its dual-strap enclosure system and the heel while a regal gold hue provides a luxurious touch on the “LJ23” logo and speckling on the sole. As LeBron and his Cavaliers make their push to get back to the NBA Finals, we may see King James don the court in these at some point.

Kyrie Irving may be done for the year after having knee surgery but his signature kicks are still hitting shelves. The season started off strong for Kyrie and his Boston Celtics but unfortunately the Celtics will have to make their push for the Championship without Irving. Irvings fourth signature sneaker has had a strong run since it was debuted back in January and this next release comes in a super clean colorway. With summer on the way, clean kicks are a must for any sneakerhead and this next Kyrie 4 comes dressed in a Pitch Blue and Metallic Gold color scheme.  This Nike Kyrie 4 comes with contrasting stripes on the toe box and a raised graphic print around the heel. Metallic Gold Nike Swoosh logos, a White midsole, hits of Celtics Green atop a Gum rubber outsole completes the design.

The Nike Air More Uptempo had a huge year in 2017 and it doesn’t appear to be slowing down. Granted, the 1996 retro basketball model has long-since been a lifestyle staple thanks to its bulky ‘Air’ side panels and uniquely comfortable midsole unit. Now, Nike is dropping a pair that would make Scottie Pippen proud. Coming dressed in a Chicago Bulls colorway of White and Varsity Red, these are perfect to compliment your Bulls gear. This pair was originally released in 2006 as the Air More Tempo, and it’s the perfect time for a rerelease of them.

LeBron James continues to amaze us with his god-like basketball skills after he nailed a buzzer beating three-pointer to beat the Pacers in game 5 on Wednesday night. These type of highlight plays have become a norm for King James throughout his career but no matter how many times he makes them, we are all still amazed by it. It’s hard to believe that LeBron has been playing for fifteen years and like he said ‘he’s like fine wine, only gets better with age.” While his signature line is now on their fifteenth iteration, his Soldier line is on it’s twelfth and keeps getting better. This next Nike LeBron Soldier XII colorway will probably look pretty familiar as it’s been used by the King and Nike numerous times before as it honors his alma-matter, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. You’ll notice that this Nike LeBron Soldier XII comes highlighted with White across the uppers while Green accents the branding, liner and speckled across the midsole. In addition you’ll see LeBron James’ Dunkman logo on the heels while the SVSM logo lands on the insole. Other highlights includes Irish branding on the tongue which completes the look.

The NBA Playoffs kicked off a week ago and it hasn’t been anything short of pure excitement, unless you’re a Trail Blazers, Spurs, or Heat fan. Paul George and the Thunder have been in a heated  back and forth battle with the Utah Jazz and their series may be one of the more surprising ones. Even though OKC has their backs against a wall, Nike is still pumping out colorways of the PG 2. Dubbed the ‘Taurus’ colorway, this new look comes dressed in a White, Black, and Solar Red combination with the Taurus constellation placed on its left tongue in honor of George’s May 2nd birthday.

If you’re a LeBron James fan or even a lover of sneakers, you’ve probably noticed the impressive arsenal of kicks that the King has debuted on the court this year. Nike and LeBron teamed up for the ‘LeBron Watch’ that honored meaningful moments and colorways in Nikes and James’ history but some of the best pairs have dropped outside of that program. The ‘4 Horsemen’ and ‘Graffiti’ flew under the radar but were two of the cleanest pairs to drop this year. While this season hasn’t gone as LeBron had planned, he and the Cavaliers are still pushing for that NBA Title and are battling the Indiana Pacers in a heated first round matchup. If you’re keeping up with the series then you may remember that LeBron broke out this pair in game 1 of the series and sneakerheads everywhere were wondering if there would be a release. If you were one of the many anticipating a release then get ready to mark your calendar because they are dropping.

This Nike LeBron 15 features a combination of Black and Grey throughout its BattleKnit contracted upper. A Black leather front pull tab that is complimented by the Sail back heel tab and midsole and is completed with Bright Crimson accents. A clear translucent outsole finishes off the design and makes this pair absolutely perfect.

Like they do every year, Nike is complimenting King Jame’ signature model with a low-top that is just as clean. The LeBron 15 has been a fan favorite since it dropped back in October and  now it’s getting a summer-ready upgrade. While LeBron’s style of game favors a mid-cut, Nike still knows how to keep low top fans happy. We’ve seen a lot of his recent models get released in a low version which give them a much more casual look that can still do work on the court. The Nike LeBron 15 Low looks very similar to the original LeBron 15, as the entire upper is constructed out of Nike’s BattleKnit material. Now, Nike is dropping two new colorways of this smooth low-top that are perfect for the spring and summer months.

One pair is coming dressed in a Black, Metallic Gold and Phantom color scheme that is super clean. This Nike LeBron XV Low features a Black BattleKnit upper that is paired with Metallic Gold contrasting accents on the Nike Swoosh logo, heel tabs, midsole and insoles. A Phantom midsole and clear translucent outsole completes the design.

Releasing alongside the ‘Black & Metallic Gold’ colorway is this ‘Ashes’ iteration of the Nike LeBron XV Low that looks very similar to the first pair that released of the hightop. Dressed in a simple Black and White color scheme. This Nike LeBron XV features an Oreo-like BattleKnit contracted upper atop a speckled midsole. An icy translucent outsole completes the design.

Like Wale said on ‘Double M Genius’, “The Bentley is rented but I got many chauffeurs. Foamposites if you ain’t got em then you penny-loafing!” The first thing that pops into your head when you think of the Nike Foamposite line might be Penny Hardaway, a close second has to be Wale. To DC cats the Foams are the equivalent to Air Max 1s or Air Force 1s everywhere else, and a staple in your everyday wardrobe. The Nike Faomposite has become a sneakerhead favorite over the years and only keep getting better with new colorways and revamped classics that made it what it is today.

Now, the classic hoop sneaker that has become a sneakerhead favorite over the years is getting a ‘Rose Gold’ colorway that is perfect for spring. Metallic colorways on the Air Foamposite One will always be a hit amongst loyalists of the brand, as its ‘Copper’ color scheme is one of the most popular in its history. Joining those ranks, is this ‘Elemental Rose’ version that sees its Foam shell adorned in a Rose Gold color scheme with Black laces and tongue unit all sitting a top an icy outsole. If you’re looking for that perfect sneaker to kick off spring and ride it into summer, look no further.

Make sure you grab your pair of the Nike Air Foamposite One ‘Elemental Rose’ on April 20th from Finishline.com.
