Men’s Under Armour Spine Venom

Under Armour is stepping up their running game this year, especially with the release of one of their most innovative lightweight runners around, the Men’s Under Armour Spine Venom Running Shoes. Featuring the ultimate in versatility for runners of all levels who crave cushioning, stability and a lightweight ride, the Spine Venom packs a powerful performance punch.

Runners who prefer a responsive ride, but are ready to ditch the bulk of traditional running shoes, can get the versatility they need from these UA running shoes. A lightweight sneaker—just 8.75 ounces—that is ready to take the track, trails, roads or treadmill by storm, the Spine Venom has a unique look and feel for the performance advantage you need.

Under Armour pulled out all the stops with the Spine Venom, utilizing the second edition of UA Spine technology, which serves to mimic the human spine by supporting the foot and diffusing pressure through the midsole. We’ve seen the first edition of this technology on running and basketball shoes from UA and this updated model certainly doesn’t disappoint. This new version utilizes a supportive foam “cage” that offers a plush feeling underfoot, yet is cored out to ditch all that extra weight you don’t need when you’re logging some serious miles or going for speed. Air is able to move freely through the cored out “cage,” which is also fused to UA Micro G® foam for a plush ride and light-as-a-feather feeling.

If that’s not enough to blow you away, UA also threw in an ultra-lightweight upper, which utilizes breathable mesh and an underlying MPZ® structure that offers you protection as you log mile after mile, as well as featherweight support.

Rounding out the package on this durable runner is a combination carbon rubber and solid rubber outsole that gives runners superior traction and extra strength in high-wear areas. Zero-bulk, a smooth ride and the perfect combination of support and cushioning—what more could you ask for in a lightweight running shoe?
