The Iconic Air Jordan Retro 13 ‘Bred’ Returns In True Form
Back in 1997, Jordan Brand created one of the last retro silhouettes that MJ would ever wear on the hardwood as a Chicago Bull. The Air Jordan 13 model has so much history attached to it that it resonates in pop culture with it being a key feature in Spike Lee’s “He Got Game“ on the feet of Denzel Washington’s character, and in sports for his memorable games destroying defenses and hitting fadeaway jumpers like they’re nothing. Think about Jordan’s greatest moments and chances are they were on an opposing team’s court. Now think about the shoes he wore in those games. They were black and red, or as the sneaker nomenclature would call it now, ‘Bred’.
If you ask most sneaker lovers, they will say that the ‘Bred’ pair arguably the most popular Air Jordan 13 original colorway of all-time. This years release will stay true to the OG form and be as close to the 1998 release as possible. With the construction of this pair being so original, it will come dressed in its OG color scheme of black, true red and white. The upper will have a combination of black leather and reflective 3M mesh that clashes with the red suede for a sleek look.
