Ahead of his first feature film release on June 29, Kyrie Irving and Nike will release a budding iteration of his fourth signature shoe inspired by the upcoming movie.Of course, there would be no Uncle Drew with Irving, but the hooping grandpa still deserves credit for one of the most compelling sports alter-egos we’ve ever been treated to. Dressed in White, this simplistic take on one of the world’s most popular basketball sneakers ushers in a boldly embroidered Blue Swoosh as well as a speckled pattern on its heel that wraps from the lateral side to the medial. Much to the delight of sneakerheads and Uncle Drew fans alike, it is finished off by a gum bottom outsole that creeps up onto the sneaker’s midsole by way of its customary outriggers. Speckled detailing marks the midsole while the summer centric gum outer plays well on the performance basketball shoe.

Like last summer, adidas and Parley are bringing two different collections of ‘Parley’ shoes in contrasting colors. The duo is now expanding their partnership with yet two new unique takes on the UltraBOOST 4.0. One pair is very similar like the previous pairs, the adidas UltraBOOST comes fully construction from recycled ocean plastic materials. It features a striped Blue and Grey Primeknit upper with a Black cage and heel counter. Parley branding on the tongues and insole atop a White Boost midsole and rubber outsole completes the design. The other pair, being dubbed the ‘Deep Ocean Blue’ pair is inspired by the Mariana Trench, which is a portion of the Pacific Ocean that’s said to be the deepest part of the ocean in the world. This new colorway boasts a darker, fuller Blueish-Black than on most previous releases. The shoe’s unique Primeknit upper is offset by a Black plastic midfoot cage, and the tongue features Blue adidas and Parley branding. A White Boost midsole provides contrast and comfort, and the shoe is rounded off with the UltraBOOST’s standard Continental rubber outsole for exceptional durability. Each pair of Parley UltraBOOST prevents 11 plastic bottles from entering the ocean, so you can be comfortable both physically and mentally while wearing them-knowing that you’re doing some good.

To go along with the numerous Nike Air Max 270 drops that we’ve seen, Nike Sportswear has been releasing the Nike Air Force 270. One of the first colorways to release was in the original ‘Safari’ colorway that Tinker Hatfield made famous back in 1987 with the Air Safari and we’ve seen other clean designs since. The upcoming Air Force 270 is trendy in every way as it comes with a molded heel, utility-grade buckle, and perforated toe that is geared toward exposing the stitches and the joints. You can’t forget about the heel that is also on the Air Max 270, as the air unit provides the comfort, while a inner bootie ensures snug fit.Boasting an upper constructed of black suede and mesh, the shoe’s striking contrast arrives via small Swoosh logos on the upper and the large white cage around the collar. The Air Force 270’s forefoot strap arrives in a two-tone black and white, and the commendable contrast is completed with a two-tone midsole featuring white in the front/smoky black on the heel’s large Air Max 270 unit.

Sticking to the trendy look of chunky silhouettes, PUMA dropped its Thunder Spectra sneaker to the world a few weeks ago, and if you missed out you now have another opportunity to cop. Inspired by 90’s running designs and Alexander McQueen collaborations, the Thunder Spectra fuses sport and fashion, given additional structure and support by its molded TPU system. The PUMA form-stripe runs parallel along the lateral sides of the shoe whilst the medial sides portray more a fashion-like aesthetic. Adorned in premium mesh and nubuck, this silhouette dons a touch of luxe that is put over the top by the stark, contrasting colors you find present on this particular iteration. With this next drop, PUMA is bringing two new fresh colorways that you won’t want to miss. These next pairs that feature colorful new colorways are coming in a Black, Grey, and Orange and a Black, Grey, Blue, and Red.

One of adidas’ major strengths is its ability to sift through its expansive arsenal and re-work a number of its illustrious silhouettes. The Three Stripes is set to do this once again by taking the OG Continental sneaker and giving it a modern upgrade and a new name, the adidas Continental 80. At a quick glance, this new model bears a striking resemblance to the adidas Yeezy Powerphase that has been released in three unique color schemes, but rest assured that this is indeed an OG shoe. One pair comes dressed in White and the other in Black. Both are constructed with leather uppers, perforated detailing and Navy and Red contrasting accents. adidas’s trefoil logo appears on each lateral side, heels and tongues. Embellishments are kept minimal with a thin red and navy ribbon stripe across the side panel, slightly perforated detailing near the mudguard and toe, and adidas branding next to the laces, at the tongue tab and heel counter.
