Baller on a Budget: Bargains

When I think about coupon clipping and bargain hunting, my mind immediately goes to soccer moms finding deals for their rugrats. Fortunately, for me and the rest of the Ballers on a Budget out there, my perception has become quite outdated.

There is an endless amount of resources at your fingertips to find deals all over the Internet, whether you have a specific item in mind or you just have an itch for something new.

If you know what you are looking for, BradsDeals will often be able to knock something off that retail price. For instance, if you need a new pair of running shoes, you could simply search for them on the easy-to-use BradsDeals homepage. Right now, you’ll find that Finish Line currently has Nike Frees at half price. Just like that, you have yourself a brand new pair of shoes without having to blow up your budget.

For those of you who aren’t quite sure what you want, Savings is always full of the best deals the web has to offer.  From Macy’s to Priceline to Sony, provides a variety of coupons to help you stay within your means. They also have a rating system that assures you of the legitimacy of the deals.

Another site that I have recently added to my pre-purchase routine is Hukkster, which adds a more personalized touch to finding great deals on the web. Using Hukkster, you can add your favorite products to their cart, and then receive notifications whenever those products go on sale or become eligible for a coupon.

These are just three of many resources out there for those of us who get queasy at the sight of full-price items. If you still can’t get enough, check out RetailMeNot, Woot, and DealNewssome of my other favorites.

What are some of your best money-saving coupon sites?
