Like last summer, adidas and Parley are bringing two different collections of ‘Parley’ shoes in contrasting colors. The duo is now expanding their partnership with yet two new unique takes on the UltraBOOST 4.0. One pair is very similar like the previous pairs, the adidas UltraBOOST comes fully construction from recycled ocean plastic materials. It features a striped Blue and Grey Primeknit upper with a Black cage and heel counter. Parley branding on the tongues and insole atop a White Boost midsole and rubber outsole completes the design. The other pair, being dubbed the ‘Deep Ocean Blue’ pair is inspired by the Mariana Trench, which is a portion of the Pacific Ocean that’s said to be the deepest part of the ocean in the world. This new colorway boasts a darker, fuller Blueish-Black than on most previous releases. The shoe’s unique Primeknit upper is offset by a Black plastic midfoot cage, and the tongue features Blue adidas and Parley branding. A White Boost midsole provides contrast and comfort, and the shoe is rounded off with the UltraBOOST’s standard Continental rubber outsole for exceptional durability. Each pair of Parley UltraBOOST prevents 11 plastic bottles from entering the ocean, so you can be comfortable both physically and mentally while wearing them-knowing that you’re doing some good.

adidas is teaming up with Parley again and creating another dope collection that is unlike anything else in footwear. Last year, adidas made the announcement that they would be making sneakers from recycled waste that is found in the oceans. Yes, you read that correctly; these sneakers would be made from bottles that are found in the sea. Mind blown, right? The collaboration between the two companies was started to make people rethink design and help stop ocean plastic pollution. Last years collection was a hit and sold out so quickly that most sneakerheads didn’t even know they had released. This years collection will consist of three different BOOST models and a Bounce model. The adidas UltraBOOST, Women’s UltraBOOST X, and the Adizero Prime will team up with the adidas AlphaBOUNCE 1 to complete the Parley collection. Each sneaker will be made using an average of 11 plastic bottles.
Inspired by the Dark Blues and Greens of the urban harbor, the adidas UltraBOOST Parley and UltraBOOST X Parley silhouettes fuse performance-oriented footwear technology with progressive eco-innovation. Demonstrating adidas’ and Parley‘s commitment to implementing Parley AIR (Avoid,Intercept, Redesign) and tackling marine plastic pollution one step at a time, every pair of the limited collection prevents approximately 11 plastic bottles from the possibility of entering the oceans.
These are a must-have for any ocean lover who appreciates the seas or if you love BOOST then these will go nicely in your rotation. You can grab your pair of the adidas x Parley collection on April 22nd at Finishline.com.

The shoe features a toned-down, monochromatic look with a black full-length Boost sole, a black Primeknit upper with slight white detailing around the toe for a small touch of flair, a black Primeknit midfoot cage that replaces the typical plastic cage for extra flexibility, and a blacked-out heel counter to complete the monochromatic look. The adidas UltraBOOST will once again receive an ‘Oreo’ treatment on its 4th generation of the popular runner that sneakerheads have come to love over the years. Fusing the past and future, as well as adidas’ most advanced technologies, the new silhouettes are engineered for unparalleled movement, precision and fit. The ventilation holes of the original Ultra BOOST have returned across the foot’s key sweat zones – the cage and forefoot, bringing back one of the most cherished design elements of this heralded collection. Combining this with a newly developed PrimeKnit composition, designed for reduced stretch to provide runners with a prime fit and additional support, the UltraBOOST is a truly unique proposition. This iteration of the adidas UltraBOOST 4.0 features an Oreo-like speckled Primeknit upper with a clean White lacing cage overlay. Speckled laces, Black heel counter, Boost midsole and Continental rubber outsole completes the design.
The ladies will get a similar look on the UltraBOOST X, but with more black details on the primeknit upper. This design specifically hugs a woman’s foot to support her arch and allows for a more customized fit.
