5 Things We Want to See This Weekend
5. Zona representing for the West.
Undoubtedly the craziest bracket in this year’s tournament, Arizona will have a huge edge playing in Los Angeles since Southern California is Arizona by the beach. The home court advantage should be enough against Ohio St. With a win against the Buckeyes, the Wildcats will carry the flag for west coast basketball to this years tourney. Not since the 1997 Arizona Wildcats has a team West of the Rockies won the tournament title.
4. The Brothers Harbaugh
Although this isn’t football, expect both Harbaugh brothers to be cheering on Tom Crean and the Hoosiers. Crean is married to John and Jim’s sister joining a family who knows a little something about winning. The more they show the Harbaugh’s the more we think about football!
3. More Amanda Markum please
CBS will not be shy in showing FGCU’s Andy Enfield’s wife during the Eagles matchup against the Gators. If we’re lucky they might even show flashes of her heyday when she was featured on Maxim. We’re waiting patiently for an update on what reality show she’ll be on in the fall.
2. The odd man out
What does Oregon coach Dana Altman have in common with Rick Pitino, Tom Izzo, and Coach K? Not much other than he’s stuck in the Midwest bracket with three coaches with the best March resumes of all-time. If somehow Oregon finds its way to Atlanta, hell might be freezing over. Can you say possible trivia question someday?
1. Buzzer Beaters
We’re due right? It’s time for a half court shot or deep three to drop at the buzzer. Pure excitement coupled with heartbreak is what makes this the best sporting event to watch. We want a reason to shout, “It’s March Baby!!! Anything can happen.”
