Community Voices: our continued support, June 2022

As part of our continued efforts to support our community and our commitment to be better allies, we’re proud to lend our platform each week to individuals seeking change. Each week we’re joined by a new guest on our Instagram to help us discuss important issues affecting the community, and profile + donate to a charitable organization of their choosing that is making an impact. Now more than 100 episodes in, and we’re thrilled to continue to support our community.

Episode 102: Chet Holmgren

We were excited to welcome @chet_holmgren, top 5 NBA Draft prospect. We chatted about the effects of social injustice in the Minneapolis area, Draft Night 2022, and the work Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities is doing.

We welcomed @malcolmjenkins to talk about the importance of Juneteenth and the work that still needs to be done. We also discussed how his org @TheMJFoundation has been helping bring change in underserved communities.

We’re ending #Pride month with a special guest for episode 104! @findingxfletcher comes through to chat with us about the importance of helping local LGBTQ+ sanctuaries stay afloat. She also discusses how @glaad’s mission ties in with her own advocacy locally, and more.
