Statistically not as great as his 08/09 season, the only number that mattered this year was 1. As that’s the number the Heat held up at season’s end. With Wade leading the charge, the franchise won their first NBA Championship against Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks. During the series Wade had a crazy 35/8/4 statline and was essentially Miami’s only source of offense (which is crazy considering Shaq was on his team). His stellar play earned himself the NBA Finals MVP. Above all else, this season Wade became a champion and showed him the path to winning. A path that he would follow for the rest of his career.

Make sure you follow along with Dwyane Wade for the rest of the season as his #onelastdance comes to an end.
