@atothebed: “My story is one of many losses, or, as you would say in 2018, “Ls.” I sold my Fire Reds in college to buy textbooks. My boyfriend found me a pair of True Blues a few years ago for the low but somebody else sniped it for his girlfriend before I could – they’re not even together anymore so I hope that his future wedding present to me is a pair of those.”

@jennizer: “Another OG colorway that I owned from 2011 and my second favorite out of the original four.”

@ractvshift: “Love the True Blue. One of my best friends got a 2001 pair from his girl years and years ago. She bought them for him at Flight Club, for dumb money, a gift for his birthday or something. I was seriously jealous. Then I got the next two retros (2011/2016) at retail, life is good like that.”

@johngotty: “MJ’s time with the Wizards may have not been all that memorable, but these shoes were. So much hype around them when they first released. As someone who’s partial to shades of blue, True Blue IIIs hold a special place in my heart, as do the black/sport royal pair from a couple of years back.”

@larryluk: “This is one of the GOAT colorways of AJ3’s for sure. Red, White & Blue plus elephant print. What’s not to like? I have a friend who has owned this model in various iterations more than 5 times. When you have something so perfect, why change?”

@nikestories: “I have a SLAMUPS poster of Jordan rocking these on the Wizards dunking on Richard Jefferson.”
