@jennizer: “I can’t wait for the Mocha colorway to retro. It’s probably my favorite AJ3 colorway mainly because it’s so clean and super low key. I had the 2001 pair, but let it go last year because the leather was cracking and it was looking pretty sad. Hopefully Jordan Brand comes correct with the GS pair.”
@dongotti: “Another pair I think are hot but are very slept on are the Mocha 3s. Rumors circulating that they’re releasing again sometime this year, who knows. I would love to see how they would come back this year. Brown isn’t the best color to see on a shoe, other than boots and such, but I always thought the color placement was fine in of itself.”
@ractvshift: “I remember the Mocha going right under the radar until all of a sudden they were “grails.” I wonder how many recent Jordan retro colorways in the last couple years may end up going that same way over time. I’ve always wanted a pair though and I’m super excited that Ill get a chance to own them this year.”
@johngotty: “Yo, very underrated. Not the average color way since how often does one really wear a brown sneaker? At the time, they broke the mold of what color schemes Js could come in, which is a good and bad thing in hindsight. In 2001, I was teaching high school when these first popped up and I would rock them on other days of the week instead of just casual Friday because you could get away with properly pairing them with khakis and a nice Lo shirt.”
